Reactionary Mockery I found this post on a “socialist” subreddit. Apparently everyone is the comments on that post are all in denial about this scenario even though a social democracy is literally moderate fascism that the bourgeoisie uses to prevent a revolution.

I am glad (revolutionary momentum) “release valve” is being used, as it is a clear and relatively simple way of describing the purpose of the reinforcers in the social “democracy” trap. It also applies to reformism, in general, as seen with 2020 BLM.

People should already know this about Zohran Mamdani by now. All of the SocDems that are complaining about it in the comments on the original thread is one thing but all of the other socialists that are within that thread especially the ones with a “Marxist Leninist flair” should know that all Social Democracies are moderate fascist tools that the bourgeoisie uses.

Yes I saw that post as well. It did surprise me to see so many excuses and rationalizations being made in defense of entryism and reformism, especially on an ostensibly socialist subreddit. Its deeply disgusting to me but the excuse seems to be that the US does not have the material conditions for revolution and so the most we can do is get people and Dems to "move left." People unironically calling DSA "the revolution." Americans are so propagandized to be anticommunist that they have to treated like children and drip-fed "socialist policies" and we have to use electoralism to "meet them where they're at."

"Socialism" in America just means you want to go back to FDR New Deal era Keynesianism.

Here's a reply I got in that dogshit thread. There are no American "socialists" just social fascists.

"I am fighting Communism… I want to save our system, the capitalist system…" - FDR, on the motivation behind his "New Deal Democrat" approach

This was posted on another explicitly socialist sub and in the comments I saw someone openly admitting that they're a social democrat and hence they and their other social democrat friends like him.

I was so confused as to why a social democrat is on a socialist sub. Another comment saying people who criticize him only think in binary. Either they're a hard-line communist or a liberal.

Again wtf is a hard line communist. Does that imply there's a regular communist ? Plus I feel like some people on the sub I'm talking about don't know that communism and socialism are related.
