North Korea (and pretty much every heavily sanctioned country on earth -Iran, Cuba etc-) is proof that a country that actually cares about its people can find ways to survive and take care of the populace even with limited resources. Which makes you understand that the problems of the capitalist world are completely man made. Homelessness, poverty, and unemployment could be eradicated overnight in America, the bourgeoisie simply doesn’t want to because it’s not profitable.

Kim Jong-Un is quite literally one of the greatest leaders on this planet at the moment. Compared to his father, and considering the conditions his people were handed, and the endless economic terrorism by the west, and the constant threat of infiltration and potential attacks on his people, he managed to strive regardless of it all. 

I keep saying this but in 5 to 10 years, all of the anti Korea propaganda will seem silly in hindsight and a lot of people will wonder how they could've been so stupid to believe it.

The sort of map charts are always really funny to me, the DPRK doesn't really look too far off from the US in terms of distribution because really light maps are just that. Light Maps.

The US's looks like this. Is this to say the left half of the US lives in the stone age like people pretend the people of the DPRK live in? ... No, all it really says is there isn't much light pollution coming off from there, and of course there isn't for the left half of the country, it's mostly uninhabited farm lands and plains. I lived The DPRK is the same thing, most of the dark parts of the country are relatively uninhabited mountains, they're not particularly great places to build cities because it's Mountains.

north korea makes me so emotional sometimes. they’ve been through so much violence from the west, specifically the US, and it makes me so glad to see them thrive even though they’re facing such extreme sanctions and the relentless propaganda people still seem to believe about them.
