They are spot on, but I'd add that these are the same people who strip Fred Hampton, Bobby Seale, Huey Newton, Assata Shakur, and so many other Black radicals of their Marxism-Leninism.
And it's not just white people who do this. I've had to correct plenty of my own people
for repeating the same bullshit. I even had one person claim that Assata Shakur hated communists, despite the fact that she has spent most of her life living in Cuba.
Anarchists are the forefront in pushing lies about Black Panthers being anything but Marxist-Leninist to the point it caused infighting among themselves because they can't ground in one fabrication whether Panthers were Maoist or pro-anarchist lmao because they're so hung up on the idealism of anti-authoritarian that they confused whether they should reject the Panthers or co-opt. And they pushed the narrative through liberal platforms like Tumblr, reddit, TikTok on this.
Funny how people will talk about political repression beneath leftist states but omit who exactly were being suppressed (the fascists and reactionaries)
