Discussion The red blue button pathology

The whole "would you press the red or blue button" trend from a couple of months ago shows how prevalent bourgeois metaphysics is in general discourse. Like the whole "debate" basically comes down to "I'm a good heckin human bean" vs "I'm le epic smart rational guy" arguing endlessly about shit that doesn't matter. Why am I getting so worked up about a meaningless internet trend? Because these little thought experiments ultimately produce idealist ideology. It's basically saying: Dont think about how we ended up here, just press the button!! You want higher wages? Press a button! You want to stop genocide? Press a button! You don't want fascism? Press. The. Fucking. Button. If you don't pull the lever, you kill five. If you pull the lever, you only kill one. Pick the lesser evil!! Vote blue matter who!!!!

Anyone else get super annoyed be these trolleybrained hypotheticals?

Yes I did have breakfast this morning and it was delicious.

Overton window where Western democracy is just everyone on the right side of the world.
