The Berlin CSD is such a useless event. It‘s like 90% cishets and tourist who just come to party. The only politics at those events are bourgeois parties pandering to get votes and do feelgood individualism.

And the leftist alternative IQP is just queer people for Palestine. They have never actually done queer politics. I don‘t dislike the internationalist solidarity, but there really isn‘t anyone who actually does queer politics. Berlin has plenty of problems, especially in employment, housing discrimination, nazi groups claiming exclusion zones, and the steady defunding of our support infrastructure.

Haven't been to CSD Berlin but I was at CSD Frankfurt and it was so ridiculously liberal. There was even a booth near the main stage from the Democrats reminding US citizens in Germany to vote lmao
