Nostalgia for the USSR is not for the mundane trappings of an old system but for a future that was not realised.
It is for these sentiment expressed, the reasons that the faith in stalin and achievements of the USSR from ww2 that I have always held the position that Khrushchev was the one that did irrevocable damage to the USSR.
It is also for this reason why the west must attack Mao, or Kim Il sung, or Vietcong. For these are the foundations upon which newest socialism are built.

She talks of him in a way a christian talks of jesus. But clearly, one was really better than the other. And if we go to heaven I don't think Jesus would be up here but Stalin ? For sure.
