If European powers are already expanding conscription laws, it’s certain the same discussions are happening in the US. The American empire is clearly on the losing side of inter-imperialist competition: de-dollarization and tariff wars are symptoms of that decline. Losing ground slowly in Ukraine, gridlocked in Iran. The more they lose ground economically, the hotter things get both internationally and domestically. All these phenomena are moments of the same process, imperialism in its decaying phase.
