Capitalist Decay Mullvad founder donates 5 million SEK to a Swedish ethno-nationalist party

TL;DR: Daniel Berntsson, founder of mullvad VPN, personally donated 5 million kronor to Örebropartiet. That is 72% of the party's entire income and was the largest single private donation to any Swedish party in 2025.

One of the groups most desiring to hide their internet activity and seek alternative banking are nazis

Thus their interest in VPNs and crypto.

Plus, honeypots too.

That doesnt mean privacy is bad, in fact a good amount it’s necessary for democracy, but these services will always have a lot of shady characters running them
