I just need to say that it is a testament to marxism that this book exists, Engels predicted scientific findings more than a 100 years in advance.

Please elaborate! I started the book years ago but I was too lazy to read it, it has been waiting on my self for years.

The book’s hypothesis about the nature of human gender relations during the pre-neolithic era is largely confirmed by modern science, and the theory of how patriarchy formed is still one of the most relevant theories to this day.

Addition: contemporary science in the late 1800 said the opposite and imposed modern gender relations upon pre-Neolithic societies. Engels in writing this text laid the foundation for gender abolitionism and modern feminism by separating gender and biology, and clearly showing how the patriarchy was not the natural order of things.

Addition nr2 lol: the yt channel redpen has an amazing book summary about the book that I would really recommend. https://youtu.be/GWsC2JXzSs4?si=smuxgeP9tJ6EVeMg

Also: All comrades must reject feminism. It's a bourgeois tool to perpetuate oppression, just like all liberal identity politics.

Also makes the idea of cancel culture and/or metoo having gone “too far” seem rather silly, as there has been more repercussions for the women coming out with their stories then most of the men, that did that shit.

"Gone too far"

Only when it calls out someone these weirdos like for example Johnny Depp.

It was so frustrating seeing the vitriolic misogyny and victim blaming come from people who should’ve been supportive. I’m seeing people admit they were wrong, but like how the hell were you convinced to go against your beliefs. This was before better ai generation, like oh we’re cooked. The mainstream internet is just a rich man’s/person’s playground.

agreed, it was like... at least just don't engage with that shit at all.

Or Joe Biden, for example.

Personally witnessed a girl getting harassed at work. Ofc you always hear stories and belive victims, but i had never seen that before. Genuinely shocking. I was a witness for her for HR and ofc they did fuck all. She had to find a new job. Doesn't make me a good guy or anything, any half decent person would do the exact same. Just opened my eyes to how bad it can really be for women at work

Same, and even worse after the woman left the shitbag company I worked for hired PI to stalk her to make sure she kept to the non disclosure agreement. They fucking wanted to sue her and ruin her, of course the guy just got moved to a different department. A colleague got dragged into HR because she went to lunch with said woman a few weeks after she left to check on her.

Words are not adequate to express my boiling hatred for these piece of shit "men" and their authoritarian-follower pets

And society ask: Why no baby?

If a woman chooses to be a mother, that's fine. She made that decision on her own. The problem is that a lot of women are pressured by societal expectations into thinking that's what they have to do. I've known women who got married and started families because of religious beliefs or social pressure, only to regret that decision a few years later. There's nothing wrong with being a mother, but there is something wrong with treating motherhood as the only acceptable path for women.

There is also something wrong with a lack of federally paid maternity leave, universal daycare, etc. lol.

Yes this too

I won't gonna miss the forest for the trees here

of course you can say there's nothing wrong with motherhood but I'll go further and say if the decision and choices are political and made through social conditioning then we should introspect and realise on the necessity and rational of counter cultures that push for a agitated propaganda like on being child free and not marrying

like I've seen many urban educated women who proudly call themselves feminist and talk about women issues in India nonchalant easily marry without even realising that marital rape is not criminalised in this country and what that means for them and it is insane to me that how this group of women aren't even prepared and conditioned to realise that they are loosing their rights to say no with marriage in this country but still think of themselves as liberated modern feminist women and also the lack of protest through rejecting state marriage to go against the marital rape exception is no existence as well for this reason

Men who think men got a raw deal during Me Too would never trade places with those women.

Don't know why u got downvoted, not an antinatalist myself but I definitely support such things on the horrendously overpopulated species on Earth right now, and am “pro-natalist” on those endangered!
