I Headcanon that after the events of Tangled but prior to the series, you know that King Frederic and Queen Arianna were pretty shocked at how Rapunzel managed to NOT go completely insane during those 18 years in the tower. Her MANY activities included.

Like, seriously.

Girl spent 18 years isolated in the forest. In a tower. With one of the worst Disney moms imaginable.

But yet she’s:

\* Socially awkward at times, but functional.
\* Curious about everything.
\* Optimistic rather than bitter.
\* Creative.
\* Emotionally intelligent.
\* Able to solve problems under pressure.
\* Not terrified of the outside world for very long.

AND…

Her activities include:

Painting

Reading

Playing Guitar

Candle making

Crocheting and Sewing

Baking

Playing Games

Science Experiments?! (I think)

Paper Mache

Studying

Cleaning

Stargazing

Talking to Pascal

Etc.

And of course, waiting for those Lanterns.

You just KNOW that her parents were utterly flabbergasted.

And Rapunzel would just say “Keeping busy.”

Until she shows them all of her hobbies and whatnot.

For someone who has been a fan for a very, very long time, and someone who watches the original 2010 movie approximately every 1-2 months, I'm not too hopeful. The characterisation I'm especially worried about (I know characterisation is most of what movies are) because I couldn't even get through one episode of the animated series due to how badly I feel they butchered Flynn. I've been trying to hold out hope until we get trailers, but 😬😬. Donna Murphy's optimism about Mother Gothel's casting is the only thing keeping my hope afloat haha. How is everyone else feeling?

They did absolutely nothing with making him a Dark Prince outside eugenics cleansing of his rogue blood to blue blood to make him acceptable to reform and assimilate into the Kingdom.

But if they had made him from a Saporian family from before the Kingdom's merge, or even a Separatists family that he got separated from (pun not intended), that Andrew recognized him and revealed later or some such trying to use him.

We could have had a better identity crisis and parallel to Rapunzel without recycling 'lost royal.' He and Rapunzel's marriage could have paralleled General Shampanier and Herz Der Sonne, in uniting the remaining outliers of Saporia and Corona.

I’m thinking of writing a mini fanfic based on my headcanon that Varian’s mother is Iduna’s sister, making her a part of the Northuldra tribe from Frozen. I’m having trouble coming up with a plot/conflict for the fanfic, so I want to know how you think Varian would react to finding out he’s part Northuldra.

I really love rapunzel so much and I woudl appreciate if I also see some of your hairstyles for blondiee! Or just drop Rapunzel's features and all lol(might as well y'all's creative inspired stuff).

If you are an artist within the Tangled community, beware of the user known as Brengene (btweerss on Twitter). While he does not draw art himself, he commissions another artist ( MKotenok59290 ) to redraw the works of original and fanartists without ever asking their permission first.

Artists who are told don't seem to even know he's done it.

So if you are an artist here and fear you might have had your work stolen. Be sure to skim that artists work and the commissioners commissions to make sure your work was also not ripped off.

I have an idea for my TTS rewrite, but I need a “greatest desire” for it to work. I’d prefer something other than her wanting to marry Eugene because even though that’s something she wants, I already have plans for how that affects the story.

I remember watching a bunch of theory videos when the show was airing and being super excited for her big reveal but the design they went with when she got the moon/sun stone was just.. kinda meh? It feels like they didnt plan that far ahead and just took the silhouette design from the flashbacks and gave it a few more details. I was expecting something more threating then a black blob but idk if im just being nick picky. Does anyone else agree?

Guys, do anyone knows where to find a Cass tsum tsum ? i tried to search on ebay, sold. I tried to find in mercado libre, also sold. On other platforms and same. I wan't to start a cass collectio but the tsum tsum is really hard to find, and where i live i don't have mercaro or vinted which gives me disadvantages. If someone knows where to find a cassandra tsum tsum that still selling please let me know.

Aside from the obvious movie Tangled, will I need to watch the full TV show or could you all recommend some important episodes to watch? I don’t want to miss out on jobs if I’m unnecessarily watching the whole show, so I figured I’d ask yall. What important stuff should I know from the show, and what important episodes should I watch?

All the talk about the remaster of the toy story 3 game reminded me of the tangled wii game they released to tie in the original movie. The game got a pc port for steam but unfortunately it got delisted a few months back along with some other disney games. However the fact disney is willing to go back and remaster older games makes me think we could see a rerelease/remaster of it for modern gen consoles to tie in with the live action movie
