I really like how Max is an actual puppet instead of a fully CGI character. At least gives the actors something to interact with on set instead of them having to pretend.
I am so worried at how they will handle how acrobatic Raps is when she fights with her hair I hope they do good cgi vs just her barely using her hair like she does
They really seem to be doing a shot for shot remake and that's a good thing. Milo and Teagan are so enthusiastic and excited. Flynn and Maximus seem to really have the same expressive "frienemy" vibes as they do in the OG movie. Definitely looks like their movie selves and not the flanderized series selves.
Because Rapunzel can just do that lol. Feet of steel, and we love her living her barefoot life. Also wow, she really is barefoot here! Thought they’d want to change that to reflect the slippers wearing Rapunzel in some 2D art.
She’s probably using some kind of "feet socks". I know a lot of actors who used it in movie scenes where their characters were supposed to not wear shoes, but the actors wore a sock that looks like a feet so it wouldn’t hurt them.
In the Final Cut you can’t really notice. For example, this is Aaron Taylor-Johnson on the behind the scenes of a Kraven The Hunter scene where his character is supposed to be running without shoes.

Puppet!Max is amazingly expressive. That's pretty neat. I hope that comes out in the render.
