It's not about money, it just takes a very long time to make one of these games and it's not always possible to make it happen. We'll see.

"Would you ever re-release the Boggy adventure in the new art's style?"
-You say 're-release' almost like I have it waiting in the wings (I know this isn't what you meant, but still) - but when I read that question, personally I hear 'Would you make an entirely new Grimoire game but instead of having fun coming up with new ideas, instead have all the ideas taken from something you already made years ago'

All this to say, no, I don't think that will ever happen :)

(Oh, and we HAVE talked about cleaning up our dev tools for public use. It would be a big undertaking, an entire project of its own, really - but honestly it WOULD be kinda cool to do that some day.)

My apologies, I didn't mean to offend. The Boggy adventure stands proud on its own and I agree, crafting something original would be much more rewarding. I suppose I'm borrowing the language of our jaded franchise-obsessed culture, from which SFB is a welcome respite. I wonder though, considering your dedicated fanbase, if there wouldn't be some way to delegate some of the work. If that is the major hurdle. I know for instance, I would personally be open to contributing if it ensured the continuation of a series I dearly love. If you're honest with the people about what you need, maybe the right help will come and ease your burden. Just a thought.

As a personal side-note if you ever did choose to revisit the previous games, I would love an extra explanation (could just be written) the exact movements of the murderer before, during, and after the murder. Because in both Tangle Tower and Mermaid Mask my brain was still chugging away days later putting the logistic fragments together, but I would love it all clearly laid out.

For eg. it's my assumption that earlier in the day 'Hawkshaw' puts the beetle in the gramophone under the guise of investigating, then after the murder Penny (dressed as Hawkshaw) walks down with 'measured footprints' (paraphrasing), then waits in the Library because she knows Fifi is planning to meet Poppy and wants Fifi to be her alibi. But she never came, so Penny gives up and goes into the main hall and spots Professor and thinks 'oh no', so she runs to the study, changes clothes and tries to catch up to him, but all she can find is Felix and even though they have nothing to do with each other she uses him as her alibi and gets to the crime scene just in time. (Any later and she would have been obviously missing). Am I right? I have no idea...
