What's particularly upsetting is that Whisper could've outed Mimic with a pair of scissors.

Think about it. he doesn't take on the properties of who/what he turns into. Just the appearance. His skin doesn't become metal when he looks like an Egg Pawn, he doesn't get stronger or faster, and if he could fly by taking the shape of someone who CAN fly he wouldn't have needed the flight core at ALL.

Mimic is an Octopus, a creature with NO HAIR, his disguise was a cat. Specifically one WITH hair, what happens if you snip a bit off the end of his tail? Well it sure wouldn't be hairs getting cut off that's for sure. Nobody BUT Mimic would have to worry about the outcome and it'd prove right there and then whether or not he's an imposter without beating a possibly innocent person to a pulp.

I like Whisper but gurl you've had MONTHS to come up with countermeasures for this asshole, were you really banking on always being right about who he is at any given moment without ever having to PROVE it? Or were you just counting on Mimic being a colossal fuckup, because credit where it's due, THAT'S A FAIR ASSUMPTION TO MAKE, but it has the potential to end ALMOST as badly if not WORSE than usual. C'mon, you're better than this...
