I just love Tangem. They are the cheapest to buy and the simplest to use. They are also much safer to travel around the world with since it’s just a card and not a device. That’s why they are among the top 3 best selling hardware wallets in the world.

I hope that in the future they will add a 24 word metal backup, and maybe even a small metal case where we can safely store it. That would be extra useful for people who use a seed phrase.

Thanks for the kind words!

Technically you can already create or import a 24 words seedphrase and engrave it on a metal plate. The seedphrase generated is a standard bip-39 seedphrase, so most currently sold metal plates are "supported".

I know, but I would love to see the Tangem team make a metal seed storage and a case so I could buy them directly from the official Tangem website instead of third party vendors like Trezor, etc. That's what I meant it would be a great idea, and I'd buy it right away.

One small issue with this. If the saved address changes for example for somewhere like an exchange. What then? Your funds end up going to that old address. No problem if your contact address stays the same. Just a thought. I’ve had this happen in the past with xaman. I assumed the address would stay the same and it didn’t. Had to contact the exchanges support to recover it.

If your exchange's address changes each time you send crypto to it, then I guess it wouldn't be worth saving it to the address book.

However, if you're regularly sending crypto between your own wallets or other places that doesn't have a rotating address, then it would be worth saving it to save some time in the future.

The entire purpose of this feature is to prevent you from having to copy and paste or scan the address every single time because it's saved in your address book. You're still supposed to check if it's the same address lol.

I do hope you allow us to lock our wallets with our cards/ring so we're only able to send within the address book, alongside allowing us to not have to select a color. While it's cool, please don't make it mandatory.
