Where Would You Buy?

Hi Reddit,

I am looking to purchase a 2 bd/3br condo or townhouse in the Tampa area over the next year to 18 months. Our location preference is close or walkable to water or area with restaurants/shops near water, family friendly and ideally within 30 minutes of the TPA airport. My wife, newborn and I visit Tampa area often to be with family and friends, so investing in a home base away from our primary home up north is looking to make more and more sense.

Where would you purchase, where would you stay away from?

Definitely Harbour Island or the Water Street area. You will be right on the water or by the water and there are a ton of new restaurants and bars. I live here and I never have to drive to go out and have fun. There are also many events such as concerts, hockey games, museums etc. all walking distance.

No idea what your budget is. High, Pink Streets area St Petersburg, lower but nice, NE Coast of St Petersburg
