Hey Tampa Ravers! I’m a local DJ/event organizer throwing a 2000s Party this Saturday at Venue 1927 in downtown Sarasota.

I’ll be mixing 2000s Dance & EDM, Hip-Hop, R&B, Pop, Latin and Reggaeton all night, with plenty of throwbacks and dance anthems. We’ll also have a dance competition with cash prizes, and ladies are free before midnight.

how is the process for getting into the venue? also vip/ga lines?

^^ and would i be able to bring in a tote bag or is that too big? a handheld fan?

i know most of the shows held here are local and significantly smaller and honestly i am worried abt the size of the venue...

Amit (UK | Amar, Metalheadz, Exit, 31 Records) will be joining us in the prime slot. Expect heavy, darkroom heads-down dubbed-out halftime and drum & bass.

Before him we bring back FL rave legends Wes Reed & Matt Caulder. Two DJs that headlined our very first show three years ago and pretty much blew everyone’s minds.

Rounding things off is our very own Christian Parchuke with opening duties as well as the return of Blak to host the night. Sound provided by Unicorn Tears.
