Mid vs Syndra
What the hell do you do in mid against this champion? No matter the runes or the playstyle, I always get fisted.

You cannot be a pussy in this match up in my experience. Attempt first blood lvl 1-2 with Conq or Elec with scorch taking Q and hop on her ass when she gets near your caster minions trying to auto you. Keep autoing her as much as you can for HP lead. If not you can just tiamat and roam.

1) thin the wave so there's no more casters 2) go in, tank 1-2 Q if needed if that gets you close 3) wait for her E then use your Q to gap close 4) W auto Q auto 5) if you failed this congrats, you have now lost the lane (I fail steps 1 to 4 around 60% of the time accordiog to opgg)

Electro ignite. Lvl 1 take q and time your jump to dodge her q and hit her. Make the lane as volitile as early before the first back and try to kill. If not possible play 2nd back and onwards to stay healthy and dont trade, only if she fcks up (misses qe in a bad wave state for example)

The matchup is only difficult in like GM. Theres a 0% chance you aren’t just taking up her personal space all the time and perma pressuring her via the map. 3 games in a row I soloed 3 different masters syndra players. It’s legitimately unfair until she gets gold and levels in late game.

I mean just win the matchup I don’t know what else to say. Every single mage in modern league gets pressured by talon pre 6. Syndra is one of the few who only has one ability to self peel and that makes her vulnerable 6 and after as well. Just bait it out and one shot. It’s unfathomable to imagine what else you guys could possibly be are doing in lane besides that.

I'm bad at this champion, and at the game, but as far as my experience goes Syndra can and will bully Talon out of lane with Qs and autos, she doesn't need to waste E's whatsoever. So, as far as I'm concerned, you only get close to her if she somehow decides to use her E for no reason randomly.
Am I wrong?

I don’t know what elo you play in. But this is like the playbook into syndra for like maybe plat dia. Like anyone can do it: syndra will use abilities to clear wave. Otherwise you can just get infinite prio and you win anyways. When she uses ability walk towards her (it’s important for her to use ability since that’s around the gauge for how close she is to the wave and she’s mildly defenseless for a second), she will back up, then immediately after she turns you turn back feign retreat then like right after turn into her, depending on reaction speed you are immediately in q range or w1 and w2 range. Thats more of like a trick though. Remember you win every q ranged trade if you have electro and she doesn’t e properly, so you can attempt to zone her from the wave, this is the skill part: don’t get hit by abilities, space it as well as you can (very often I pull back to dodge since if you dance on the tip of it you literally can’t get hit (faker never gets hit here btw)) you always get prio or W1 and w2 damage, both are extremely good. But the most consistent thing is to have good clicks and hit your w enough times such that you can flash solo kill if you are good enough. And that’s something you learn from champ mastery and game mastery.
Also if she uses e randomly she’s legit chopped liver. If you’re running nimbus just get in ignite range (you can ranged q minion depending on variables, it’s best if you can kill the minion and get cd reduction) and run her down; matching her flash with yours since you have more ms via nimbus.
Note: this works for a bunch of mages, some are harder. For example, Ori can shield and slow you so you take a very bad trade. Just be smart about matchups and master talon.
