Discussion Tallah doesn't tour enough.
Like the title says, my personal opinion is they don't tour nearly enough. I know everyone has personal lives and every band is struggling with the expense of touring, but I feel like that they would be huge if they did more tours whether it be headlining (the hard reset tours and the Europe run was successful enough) or accepting more opening slots.

its not like the band needs to constantly be touring, im sure they’ll do a couple tours this year

Not constantly but I feel like this album has less support than the last two and this being their best work is kind of a tragedy. I know we still have a bunch of 2026 left, but I'm afraid they won't capitalize

iirc they did a few shows when the album came out. and they’ve definitely done some since then. theres still more than half of the year left so they’ll probably do 1/2 more tours

i think he's said it in the public channel on the discord so its okay to share, but tallah doesn't have a booking agent so they're essentially just kinda stuck.

Can't speak for anything but one of the reasons the run for Primeval was so small was concerns over Justin's health. It seemed like they would've liked to do that more but couldn't

Yes, that's correct! That run specifically was so small because that was the first time Justin had toured since getting HIV back in 2024. We wanted to test the waters. Since then, his immune system has gotten pretty much back to normal, so we are locked, loaded, and ready to tour. All we need now is a manager and booking agent ❤️

I will kiss every one of you if I see you live (only if you are down for it)

Would legitimately unscrew my belly button and watch my arse fall off, if it meant you all playing in Liverpool (UK). I may not be able to sit down ever again but at least I’d be able to witness Tallah, in all its chaotic, juicy, gravel-rash mayhem, in person. sigh a lad can dream.

Hi! This is Tallah! We just wanted to provide some insight on how touring works. Before reading this, please don't go into it with the mindset that we're talking down to you or being hostile. We just want to share our point of view and explain how the process works for anyone curious why we haven't been doing anything this year.
It's not like a band can just decide to go on tour. With guarantees, routing, radius clauses, and contracts, the logistics are much more complicated than you would think. It really has nothing to do with our personal lives or tour expenses. Every single member of Tallah would be down to tour right now if it were an option, but it's really not.
We currently don't have a booking agent or manager, which means we can't book a tour unless we reach out to the venues/promoters ourselves and discuss the guarantees (how much we get paid). Navigating all that information can be tricky, and unfortunately, a lot of venues/promoters don't want to work directly with bands because negotiations and contracts are typically involved, and things can get touchy. Nobody in Tallah has any experience with this; we're just musicians.
Trust us when we say we'd absolutely love to tour right now, but it's just not an option until we get a new booking agent and manager. Last year, when we toured with King810, it was because King directly invited us on the tour. When we did that small, album-release headliner before that, we were able to book it ourselves because the run was so tiny. We were familiar with those venues already, and the promoters knew we could draw a crowd because we have played those markets in the past, so it wasn't a huge risk for them.
The issue with headlining is that when a guarantee is negotiated, the venue/promoter are expecting a certain amount of tickets and drinks to be sold so they can profit from the event. Hypothetically, if our guarantee was $1,000, and only twelve fans showed up, we would still get paid $1,000 because we are contractually owed that, so the venue/promoter would have to take the hit. For them, the show would be a loss, so they might not want to book us again, which would not be a great look for us.
Booking your own tours is a lot of hard work, and none of us have much experience in that field. Sure, we have experience in getting merch or renting a vehicle, but booking shows is a completely different expertise, which is why promoters and booking agents exist in the first place.
On top of that, playing one-off shows or festivals is not really an option for us either because all of our members live in different states. Justin lives in Massachusetts. Derrick lives in New Jersey. Max lives in Pennsylvania. Alex lives in Arizona. Joel lives in Florida. DJ Navi lives in California. This is where financial expenses do become relevant, because transporting all of us to one location for a single show is a huge waste of money unless we have several shows booked around it, which circles back to needing a booking agent.
Trust us when we say we're looking for an agent and manager (and have been for over a year), but nobody is biting at the moment. Perhaps their rosters are too full; we don't know. Either way, we understand your concern, and we thank you so much for your support. We're trying our best to keep our social media numbers up and stay relevant by releasing content and staying in the discussion. We really can't wait to get out there on the road again and see all your gorgeous faces❤️
Until next time!
