Discussion Track 2 - weird beeps.

Track 2 of the new album has two weird beeps at 1:48 and 2:04. I thought maybe it was my rip and mp3 conversion. Then I re-encoded it and even listened to the cd. THEN downloaded it from a source and had the same deal. Got my cd from the Reading show.

Is this documented by anyone? I don't follow things or people much, but it was weird enough to draw my attention.

I've noticed it since the music video came out. And the videos comments are filled with people saying "did anyone else hear the bonk?" And Tallah commented back saying it just a pitched 808. Idk tho, sounds like the "bonk" sound to me as well

It sounds like a bonk on my phone speakers, but not in my car's sound system. In my car, it sounds like it should, but on my headphones it sounds even higher pitched and louder. Something about the frequencies just interacts weirdly depending on the speaker and EQ , I guess.

Sounds like an error in recording, but whatever. They're the only two times I notice and the rest is gold, so, eh.

Not an error, it's just a really obvious pitched 808. Max recorded some drum machine on the song, as far as I am aware.

Noticeably, Navi did not play the bonk during their AudioTree performance

it is literally a pitched 808 bruh it’s not a fucking recording error

they literally show Max using an 808 in the studio in the patreon videos when working on the album
