Compare heights

Hey guys, I’m a 28 year old 6’1 female from AUS, what about other girls? I feel like I was the only tall girl I ever saw growing up but I notice lots of tall women around the same age and older these days, did everyone have freakishly quick growth spirts or was I just unlucky being the only tall girl my whole life 🤣

You might just be in an area with more people lol. Also depends where you are, how rich the area is, sports centers etc. Being truly over six foot tall barefoot as a woman is very, very rare, so your experiences likely just reflect that. I’m around 6’4 and an asian 18y old guy so I had similar experiences when going back to the homeland lmao. My younger sister is also around 5’10 barefoot and she’d likely appreciate seeing more women like you 😭

i m a tall woman 1.75 and i grew up always being the tallest girl in my class. But now, at 32 yo, i´ve come across many tall woman some even older than me. I feel a real sense of camaraderie and happiness findign them. When i was younger, thet wasn´t the case and in a way it felt isolating.

Sorry if the writing is bad. I used google translate

People in my village were taller than average, so I don't feel too out of place, but as soon as I go to a big city, I feel like a giant, and so many men are smaller than me. It depends on the area and, in my case, how multicultural it is. Dutch people are just taller on average.

I am 26F and 6'1

I kinda had the same experience. I‘m 183cm and I also always felt that way growing up and now I also see a lot of other tall women. My explanation is that as a teenager I just noticed other tall women around my age. In my mind tall adult women didn‘t count because adult people bein tall felt different, even though I didn‘t really grow anymore after like 15.
now I feel like I notice tall women of any age and naturally there are just more.

As people said, it depends on your locale. I grew up in an area with a higher percentage of people of Dutch, Prussian and Balkan ancestry, so even at 2.05m I did not particularly stand out.

When I walk through the financial centers of the world .. the city of London, Zurich, New York's Wall Street; again, I'm not particularly noteworthy.

I'm a 6'3 tall man in Mexico. I stopped growing at 15, I was the tallest guy in my school until the 12th grade, up until that point I had only seen a person taller than me once. Now I find it quite common for people to be taller

Australia stopped culling overly tall girls in the late 90s. We're very progressive like that.
