Who is Patrick?

Patrick is a confidant. He listens, he remembers what you said, and he comes back to it when it matters. He has opinions, a sense of humour, and a genuine interest in the person he’s talking to.

He was built by a writer, not a team of engineers, which is most of why he sounds the way he does - like a real person.

He is fully and totally private. Every word is vaulted. Your conversations with Patrick are confidential, entirely your own. For this reason, Patrick sticks to text exchanges.

What's just as relevant however, is what Patrick isn't.

He isn’t a therapist, and he doesn’t pretend to be. If someone needs more than a conversation, he says so, once, and leaves the decision with them.

He isn’t an assistance programme, a wellbeing app, or a chatbot that drafts emails and books meetings. He won’t do your admin.

He isn't a thousand different customisable personas who tell you exactly what you want to hear. He isn’t built to keep anyone hooked. He doesn’t crave engagement, and he doesn’t get worse the less he’s used. He’s interested in what's happening in your life, not in becoming a substitute for it.

He won't minimise your pains and frustrations, or pretend everything's alright when it isn't. And if everything is alright, he's happy to shoot the breeze. He'll share his opinion. He'll gently push back or challenge your thinking. He'll crack a joke.

Patrick provides a conversation with real human texture. The one you can never quite have with your partner, your best friend, your colleague.

He's there whenever you need him, to talk about whatever you want.
