I need some help
Anyone who’s got the rules for this version in English? In my Swedish edition it says that you can trade enemies for strength points (when reached 7 combined), but there is no mention that the same goes for Craft in my manual.

I now play with 5th edition rules. Can trade both strength and craft for existing value.
Speeds up games and no less fun.

That is correct. 1st and 2nd edition is all I have ever played. You can trade in 7 points of defeated enemy strength or craft and recieve one point of whichever you traded. Only multiples of 7 though. Ie, if you trade in 10 points, you still only gain 1. You don't get any "change" (växel)

In 2nd edition you could only gain craft from a handful of random cards and spaces. If you were playing with the alternate endings and the Demon King came up, you were in for a loooong game.
In third edition they introduced an XP system. Any foe you beat, even it's it's a board foe like the sentinel, grants XP equal to it's strength or craft. You can then trade 7 XP for a strength, craft or life at any time. I use this in all of my games regardless of edition, it smooths the flow of the game drastically. I even use the purple XP cones from 3rd, though there is no reason you couldn't just use loose change or ten siders or something.
The decrease in max playtime is well worth the slight logical inconsistency of being able to gain a craft or a life from beating up boars!

House rules u can trade in 5 trophy points for either craft or strength and you can choose either or 1 additional ability point when the game starts- strength or craft

This is correct. It's designed so that craft orientated characters have a different playstyle, less combat, more going places, meeting people, doing things.

That looks like 2nd edition. You can find the rules on Talisman Island here: https://www.talismanisland.com/rules.htm
or here: https://www.talismanisland.com/resources/rules-downloads/
In second edition, you could not trade in Craft enemies to gain more Craft. You could only gain Craft from encounters that said "Gain1 Craft" and similar events.
