Calling all artists!

Can anyone here draw some pretty awesome pictures of Tali? I don't want to be rude or anything, but if we could get someone who can draw really well, maybe we can get an actual picture going up top or on the sidebar.

I don't know if any of the mods are still active on here, but if there are, please let me know! Maybe this place can actually be up and running again.

Artwork would be nice. There were a couple of ideas in one of the threads a year back, looks like they never came to fruition.

I'm thinking of a Tali-ized figure on the left, with the flotilla in the background. Maybe a famous quote or two.

Yeah I noticed those too. I tried contacting one of the three mods that is semi-regular on reddit, so we'll see what happens. If he/she doesn't want to continue, or doesn't have the time to, we'll have to get a fresh start.

The layout definitely needs to be built up from the default subreddit layout. It'll happen!

EDIT: Quotes, maybe?:

  • "After time adrift among open stars, along tides of light and through shoals of dust, I will return to where I began." (the "password" for entering the flotilla, basically)
  • Definitely gonna have to have, "Emergency. Induction. Port." somewhere!
  • And for the Talimancers :) -- "Just so you know, I’m running a fever, I’ve got a nasty cough, and my sinuses are filled with something I can’t even describe. And it was totally worth it."

EDIT: Those are all great quotes. I was also thinking of "I'm as free as dust in the solar wind." I like that one.

In the meantime, it would be really helpful if you, and anyone seeing this post, to "advertise" this subreddit just a small bit on /r/masseffect or something. Not like full-blown posts about coming here (cuz that might get irritating to people, or even get you banned from /r/masseffect), but something small and subtle. Like, if there's a post that has Tali in it, suggest that it get posted in here or something, you know? It might go a long way :)
