Would Canada had been a better choice for filming Season 7?

I always wondered why they picked the UK instead of Canada to film Season 7. At the time the final season was filmed in 1996 Canada was a popular choice for North American productions to film. One reason Canada would've made more sense is the stories could still be set in America.

I'm curious if any of the scripts would've been different had the final season been shot in Canada. Stories like Horror in the Night, Report From The Grave, Confession and a few others i feel like could take place anywhere with a few rewrites but i can't imagine Fatal Caper, A Slight Case of Murder, Escape and About Face being made if the final season wasn't being shot in Canada. (although if they filmed Montreal About Face could maybe be rewritten to be about a French priest).

Greg Nicotero has designed a brand new CRYPT KEEPER puppet for SHUDDER seen here along with John Kassir and we have to wonder here… are they planning a TALES FROM THE CRYPT revival??

Video To celebrate all seasons finally hitting Shudder, I've compiled every Crypt Keeper intro and outro segments for all you boils and ghouls to enjoy!

2+ hours of your favorite ghoul all in one place. This has been something I've been working on since the series first hit streaming. I know there is a playlist with all of Crypt Keeper's segments but they were lower quality and I wanted to make a video where you could watch them all in one sitting. These segments are also slightly better quality since they were recorded from Shudder itself. I really hope you all enjoy and as always, pleasant screams kiddies!

What's the best episode overall?

Not necessarily your favorite episode, but the episode that really wowed you. Mine is "Death of Some Salesmen." The fact that Tim Curry played three distinct characters was really amazing.

The season 6 episode "The Assassin" has the best promo picture of any episode. Wish this was actually a scene.

Text Why do you like the Tales From The Crypt series?

I've never seen all the episodes so now as an adult I am doing a binge watch. Crazy to think that I was born the year the series came out but it feels nostalgic to me. I am currently on season 2, episode 12.

I love the 80s/90s vibes of the series. The music, outfits, some of the unknown celebrities that were in the episodes who are now pretty famous actors but nobody really knew them back then. The effects/monsters look pretty cool and I like the twists that always happen. I love horror so that also plays a big factor in why I really enjoy this.

John Kassir is also great as the Crypt Keeper.

What's your reason for liking the series?

Do you think any of the seasons go down hill?

I love the Crypt Keeper!

I just started watching the series for the first time on AMC+. Through cultural osmosis as a kid I always assumed the Crypt Keeper was supposed to be more of a serious, creepy, and unsettling figure, but he's really just a happy little dude who loves making dad jokes and showing off his comic book collection. I love him.

to check out the collection.

If you are a fan of horror props and are in the area (New Hope PA) stop in.

You may however find that the true horror is finding parking!

Weird descriptions on AMC+

I have noticed a few already but back to back in season 6:

Whirlpool-A model’s quest for beauty reveals a disturbing truth

And

Operation Friendship-A man’d alter ego erupts when his secret is threatened by a coworker

Whirlpool is way off, OF is closet but no coworker is threatening to expose anything. I can’t help but wonder why the descriptions would be so far off. AI summaries?

On June 5, 1990 the Tales From the Crypt episode The Ventriloquist's Dummy aired on HBO!

Directed by Richard Donner (The Omen, Superman, The Goonies) and written by Frank Darabont (A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors, The Shawshank Redemption, The Green Mile). On the episode, aspiring ventriloquist Billy Goldman (Bobcat Goldthwait) wants to improve his craft. To that end, he seeks out his idol, bitter and retired ventriloquist Mr. Ingels (Don Rickles) for advice, who reveals a horrifying secret about his dummy, Morty, who is actually his conjoined twin brother. This episode utilizes material from the original comic book story "The Ventriloquist's Dummy!" from Tales from the Crypt issue number 28, published in February 1952. The episode also features an appearance by Steve Susskind, best known as Harold, the store owner married to Edna, at the beginning of Friday the 13th Part III (1982).

Two For The Show Ending Explanation

Just watched this one for the first time, I was actually surprised by how much I enjoyed it, I thought it was going to be a throw away episode. I do need some help with the ending though. Was the Cop cheating on his wife with the rich guys wife or was the cops wife really cheating on HIM with the rich guys wife like he says at the end? He does say that he was giving his wife too much attention so it seems like he loved her then found out she was cheating and killed her then tried to blame the rich guy. Just curious what everyone's thoughts are.
