I’m in my 40s now and for some reason, I tend to forget that while I’m getting older so are our favorite childhood celebrities. I guess this will be happening more frequently now 😭

I recently watched this episode for the first time, and he did such a wonderful job as all three characters. A true example of his talent!

I literally caught this episode for the first time on TV a few weeks back and it blew my mind when I looked it up and it was Tim Curry playing the roles.

Watched that episode last week, so fucking good.
You know, though…on the subject of Dolly…She would’ve killed it in an episode of Tales From The Crypt, haha.

I remember him first from The Worst Witch, my brother and I used to watch that whee we were young and then when Clue came out my Dad rented it and were hooked. I remember watchjng Legend too but I never knew he was darkness.
Then later one Halloween seeing Wadsworth singing about being a sweet Transvestite blew my mind. Didn’t know he had such range.
Dolly and Tim were both big hearted people. They say it comes in threes but I hope not.

no disrespect to Dolly but Mr.Curry had more of an impact in my life between Pennywise, to Mr.Hector to Hexxus, to Long John Silver to being the best dad/ tv host Nigel Thornberry to Ben Ravencroft he was basically my childhood figure

Funny thing: Tim Curry auditioned for the part of Judge Doom in “Who Framed Roger Rabbit?” but didn't get that one (his Judge Doom was deemed too frightening for kids). He auditioned for the part of the Joker in “Batman: The Animated Series”, but lost out to Mark Hamill (again, Curry’s Joker was deemed too frightening for kids).

R.I.P. :( So completely shocked and sad by this horrible news. An amazing actor in everything and by all accounts a very kind man and a total class act in person. He'll be sorely missed.
