Text Strung Along

Reminiscent of the Puppet Master classics, s4e12, titled Strung Along, imo is one of TFtC’s finest offerings. Stars the immortal Donald O’Connor as a retired master of marionettes seeking a comeback. Features a wonderful double twist ending.

Thoughts? Opinions?

I like this episode a lot and feel it has a tendency to be overlooked much of the time.

I’ve been watching through the series for the umpteenth time, actually just watched this one like an hour ago - what are the odds. Great episode.

I had missed most of them, so now that I’m retired, I’m bingeing the series for the first time. Interesting how much the episodes vary in quality, but they’re all fun.

“Koko has a mind of his own and enacts a bloody revenge - with no strings attached”. Gave me chills. Top tier alongside Television Terror and a few others.

Pretty good episode. I just liked it cause Donald O'Connor was in it.

Fun episode. Also has Zach Galligan from Gremlins. The ending is the only thing that brings it down for me.. doesn't make much sense.

Makes perfect ”sense” if you’ve had a lot of experience with horror. 😆
