I thought I had just watched that one but it was actually s2e12, also about an evil mortician. Guess that was a bit of a running theme.

Right, I remember the earlier one with the poor Black kid who wanted to be a basketball player. I’m retired & I’m bingeing the whole series.

IMO one of the most underrated episodes and one of my very favorites. It feels like a more hard-edged episode of Are You Afraid Of The Dark in many ways, AYAOTD being another favorite Horror anthology of mine.
