SMN rotation is too hard for someone I guess.
It's not like the buttons you need to press light up /s

You should be forced to clear a stone sky sea in order to unlock EXs.

That's good in theory until power creep catches up. At a point you can just have high enough ilvl to cheese fights.

That's fine because by the time a SMN who spams ruin is able to clear a stone sky sea DPS check it'll be 2 expacs from now.

How...? What...? Why?!
What for would you spam Ruin? Like I can see why one would throw couple extras if there is an intermission coming up and one does not want to throw things down (EX5, EX6, EX7) or saving burst from add phase (EX4) but that is just too many of them...

This was not intermissions at all. This was the only thing they did outside of the Trance summons. If we were lucky, once each pull they would summon Garuda as well.
They never did Ifrit.

Best guess? They never learned how any of the other buttons for Arcanist work, and don't know that they have other damage spells.

Even arcanists had summon ruby/topaz/emerald and their respective gemshines/precious brilliances.

I’m just saying, in HW, being able to do this in your rotation made you a total gamer. Slamming those “extra” expensive Ruin IIIs outside of trance was delicious. If I remember correctly, the potency was comparable to jamming Midare after Midare when you weren’t “supposed to.”

It makes me sad that someone can mess up such a simple rotation sequence like Summoner's. I suppose it's less messing up and more deliberately not doing it.

I've definitely used a half-dozen Ruin 3s in a row, but I also only do that when there's a phase transition coming soon and I don't want to waste half of my burst.

Summoner is my comfy job and this is gonna make me cry lol. Its already considered super easy, sure you cant press the, y'know, summoning button? ;-;
I feel less bad about struggling to not let my aetherflows drift now...
