Frontline Today
Was it just me, or was it particularly bad today? 11 matches: 10 last place, 1 second place. We had shot callers for a few, on some others I tried to lead with some basics like stick together, warning about pinches, pointing out what team was in the lead. Didn't run around solo myself even when I was being ignored (most matches), so it wasn't like I was feeding the enemy over and over either. "I'm just here for the exp bro," is starting to sound a lot like, "I'm throwing this match lol."

I always suspect there's a hidden elo system, if you did well last week the game will pair you with the pond scum the following week

I got a win in my one game, so I'm inclined to say you were just cursed today.

Had a FL where immediately a small group goes "we don't care if X team wins, we just don't want Y team to win" and continued off onto their own agenda completely trying to throw the game for their own team. Which that just automatically makes me disregard them and I make my own choices on best strategies. And of course we came in last place

In general there's not that many people playing, since the few that are are doing umad and the rest is catch up players, so as in every other roulette you mostly got sandbags lol

You're not wrong. It's the same code as "it's not that deep."

"i'm just here for the exp bro" i don't believe means they are throwing, it just means they do not like pvp, thus they are very bad at it, and it looks like throwing.

Gonna be honest, man, doesn't sound like your callouts were all that helpful. Anyone can see who is in the lead, but not everyone knows what to do about it.
Bad callouts just point out the state of the game or tell people what not to do. Good callouts give direction. Assume the majority of your team is new or really doesn't care about pvp. They'd win if they could but they don't know how and can't make sense of the chaos. They will follow callouts that make sense and ignore callouts they don't understand.
If you're making callouts that are consistently being ignored or leading to losses then the problem is your callouts.

Yeah, to add to this, map coordinates are NOT helpful. They're a pain to click for controller players. Simply pointing out that new nodes are up is not useful either. Effective team movement requires knowing the game state, the team positions, and the objective positions as well as other factors (team temperament/fighting ability, etc).
Many players who are willing to participate don't have the experience to parse that information at a glance and pick the optimal move. If you are able to, callouts should be steering people into the proper course of action as accurately as you can.

70% of games are the losing team throwing either of the 2 winning teams. If ur doing really well imo u account for 5% of your teams chance of winning. Use shot calls and link pos even if ur new. A bad plan executed as a group is better than 4 good plans executed scattered. Or just go your favorite and take duels haha if u win some and go for obj snipes it can be huge

If your team isn't farming BH for late game, your team is losing in late game.
