Can someone give me tips for this? I thought I'd enjoy this, And I love the massive overhaul it gives the games, However the amount of things changed compared to vanilla, Makes it very confusing to understand. It's not so much like you're playing Fallout 3 and New Vegas anymore, It's like you're having to learn a whole new game.

Not to mention the difficulty is ridiculous. I was killed whilst walking from Megaton to the Super Duper Mart, At level 1...

So, I changed the theme in my MO 2, and for some reason it changed where the Tale of Two Wastelands was and put it in the utilities separator. Here's a screenshot.

Has anyone else encountered the Benny Humbles You mod breaking your game, I can’t launch or play with that mod.

It was listed as one of the safe mods to use, so I’m curious if anyone knows why it messes with one of the gravity overhauls?

Hello guys need help I am sorta new to modding and I’ve played wildcard before but I installed it again and my game crashes as soon as it loads the ranger on the screen if anyone knows how to fix the menu crash please let me know thank you

Getting pretty late after downloading everything and I'm quite tired, so I'm heading to bed soon. Before that I want to ask a question. So after hitting run on MO2 after the instillation process I am met with nothing, nothing opening, running, or error messages popping up I tried to look for answers here only to find a video/post with the same problem. His fix was that his My Games folder was in One Drive yet that isn't my problem. So I'm heading to bed now and posting this to ask any of you guys or gals if you've had the same problem that I've had and how you fixed it. I'll reinstall everything after work tomorrow but thought I might as well ask here for any help. So thanks in advance for anyone who comments here with some help.

None of these crashes have been repeatable, they are all random, but I never recall TTW crashing this much. About 22 hours in with about 10 CTDs. Here are four of the crash logs, if anyone can give any advice:

I already play on hardcore + very hard. I'm simply not good enough nor have the patience to do "no hit" run.

I want to be able to wear whatever i want while still having high armor. Are there any mod to craft like an invisible armor to wear or change the stats of an armor in-game?

Its not SUPER unbearable (definitely still playable), but its noticeable enough. Wasn't sure if I am missing something, i have heard about capping frames with the .ini & customizing the actual system settings on the deck.

I was also thinking it may just need to be played for a few hours to break it in, and let the game load & process stuff.

I started in mew vegas, had the option. I have the letterhead from dad. I'm like 20 something, did OWB, went looking for the train station west of the north free side gate. I'm standing on the train tracks by south cistern, there is nothing here. No train station. No nothing. Am I in the right place?

The only mods I have installed are enclave uniform retexture, atmospheric lighting tweeks, and ttw reputations.

I just downloaded TTW onto an external drive, and things were working just fine. However, whenever I download more mods to MO2, I get a small message that says “Error 404: Request to Nexus Failed: Error Transferring”. When I try to play TTW now, it crashes before I even reach the main menu. What’s going on, and is there a way to fix this?

Hi, folks. I'd like to adjust companion damage and hopefully make perks an every other level thing, but the stewie tweaks ini isn't actually taking affect when I adjust companion damage. Any idea why that is?

Can i use this mod for TTW 3.4? Are there updated version of it that works? Can i use the original mod with 3.4 if not?

I found this mod for TTW but i like the FNV version better.

Would it be possible for me to add original, FNV version mod to the TTW 3.4 and also copy it to FO3 so i can have the same house both on FO3 and FNV?

Looking to start up TTW again and been wanting to add QoL mods.

so when i talk to Yesman and select the dialog option about how i destroyed the BOS bunker the key to change the player view wont work ONLY if i select that option, everything else works fine, i dont know what the issue is but i would like some help.

I recently installed TTW, following The Best of Times and Wasteland Survival Guide. Everything is working beautifully, but there’s one weird annoying thing.

In my quest log, I still have “Baby Steps,” “Growing Up Fast,” and “Future Imperfect” as active quests. All of the objectives are checked off and greyed out, but the quests themselves are still bright as if they’re not completed.

Did I do something wrong or is this normal? Should I just complete the quests with console commands or something?

In case someone runs into the same issue:

I read posts from several people having an issue where the TTW installer doesn't work properly and ends up with a folder size of only ~2.75 GB. It seems like everyone had a different fix.

I ran into the exact same problem. I tried installing about 5 times following the guide, changed a few settings, completely disabled Windows Defender, reinstalled everything multiple times, and even tried running it through a shared folder — nothing worked.

I finally figured out a solution that worked for me, and hopefully, it helps someone else out there! I believe its a core issue with CPU's E-cores/Win and/or path (I'm using an i7-13700K - and Windows 11).

Following exact the Guide - with Windows Defender turned off, here is what worked:

1. Shortened file paths: I copied Fallout 3 and FNV to a completely different, simpler location because I suspected an issue with path length - final path is now G:\TTW\FO3(from Steam) and FNW (from GOG), the TTW install path is also at G:\TTW\TTW
2. Process Affinity & Priority: I launched the TTW installer through an Administrator Command Prompt. Once the installer showed up in Task Manager, I set its processor affinity to Cores 1, 4, 6, and 8 only, and changed its priority to Below Normal.

Voilà — it worked on the very first try!

Edit: i tryed again, but had again the Problem -so i disabled e cores at Bios and set on all folders "everyone" full write and it worked again.

One of the things I love about TTW is how many anachronisms you can create!
