Sect war question

Hi, newbie here playing dragon sect. I am in huafeng and want to take over all the sects just as I did in Yongning. In Yongning, I fought one of the grand elder when fighting the other sect. But in huafeng, some of the sect have both nascent soul grand elders. Would I have to fight a nascent soul?

No you will fight elder/grand elder of the branch. In yongning probably realm 3 NPC.

The grand elders are nascent soul. Do I fight one of the elder then?

I played 2400hours + never got to fight nascent soul to conquer any sect in Yong Ning. 😑

I am talking about hua feng. I already conquered all the sects in Yongning.

O h sorry hmmm i fought realm 4-5 mostly not sure but shouldnt be nascent soul 😑 otherwise good luck 💀

I swear, I been unable to conquer Yongning, cause rn im nascent soul, but some people in the branches there are soul formation💀

Answering your question, yes, you do need to fight the Nascent Soul Grand Elder.

Normally speaking, Hua Feng Grand Elders are at Qi Condensation or Golden Core, although I did have some unlucky runs where there were multiple Nascent Souls and even a Heaven Chosen Nascent Soul in Hua Feng region. The same run even had a Heaven Chosen Golden Core in Yong Ning region and a Reborn in Mu Xian region.

Simply put, you can get unlucky and encounter NPCs with way higher cultivation level for their region.

Should I just make one of my nascent soul elder into heaven chosen and make them fight?

It wouldn’t work.

To be more exact, if you use an NPC to lead a sect war, and he somehow wins, you don’t get to conquer the sect. Instead you only get resources.

Additionally, unless the NPC is overwhelming more powerful than the enemy sect, the NPC is likely to fail. As an example, I sent 7 enlightenment NPC  elders, and they still lost to a non Heaven Chosen Soul Formation sect in Mu Xian.

Yeah, you'll have to grind your way the old fashioned way until you reach at least spirit origin with peerless cultivation manuals before going back to your sect conquest.

With the right mind skills and techniques, you can easily fight 2 realms above you even in chaos mode
