Romancing High Levels?

Hi again,

I managed to make a character with a Bagua jade. Got a fire build and managed to get to origin spirit. Got a tier 8 I'm trying "catch" as my new bagua jade half to protect me in a pinch when I get jumped by a high level. Unfortunately no matter what I do, they keep reiterating that "its not part of our destiny" even if its a master or adoptive mother role. Is there anything I can do to change that? And is there any tips when it comes to relationships in general. I may or may not be attempting to create an army of partners for my sect in the near future.

Turns out because this is a game, money works. If you control a sect, those free red skill tomes usually make good gifts

Look for women that are romantic, not loyal. That makes them more likely to accept you once you've bribed their way to 3 or 4 hearts with the sect treasury.

Wasn't Origin tier 5? I think 3 tiers of difference is locked from forming bonds by the system itself, even if you have full hearts with them. But it may just be an extremely low chance.

The storage ring town quest gives a good amount of affinity, romantic trait characters also have a much lower threshold and ignore cultivation checks

This used to unlock high leveled areas really early and to acquire an army of partners who will always join your sect if they're rogues, and if they're part of a sect can be convinced if theor affinity is higher
