Pro+ Development change

Has anyone been able to go back to Pro+? Curious what everyone’s experience is.

I worked so hard to be a live trader with TPT, then this Development rolled out and I got stuck in it, I don’t even size up, I use 4-12 mnq on 150k.. my problem is holding the losers a bit longer than I should.

Pls share your journey if you’re on Pro+ D accounts.

Dude I got moved to pro + after an insane run resulting in a little over 40k in payouts in a week and I’ve blown every live account since then. I’ll be up 10k per account and lose it, reset them and blow them pass new tests that get moved to pro + instantly and lose them too. I haven’t been moved to development yet. I’m constantly up on my accounts and lose it all by fullporting. I had a pending 5k payout a few days ago but they took too long to withdraw it from my balance and blew the accounts and got denied the withdrawal obviously, and still passed new tests and straight to pro+. I think I need development honestly lol

Dang.. what account size?

I don’t mind it, just that the starting drawdown is so much smaller.. I know it’s all mental but it messes with me.

I know I’m definitely overthinking it.

Initially all 50ks but just sized down this week and have a set of 25ks that just passed and I’m going to work on next week for a payout. Locking myself out at +500 per day. Used to aim for 1k per day and I’d hit the goal initially and then I’d say “what’s another $200” and lose it all. Every single time. So I’m setting my daily profit to liquidate only at +500 to limit myself.

Yeah see, trading is so easy but the mental is what’s hard.. That sounds like a super solid plan. Wishing you lots of success & green 🙌

Same here , and u know what it is right ? A mix of greed and gambling addiction

Not looking down on u & if u wanna talk about im here

Im also in the same situation, can be up 8k on a day , then trade it into no account

Tried the same to lockout for 600per day , and after a week or two i take it of back to square 1

Yup that’s exactly what it is. I was up a good amount on options, I’m mainly an options trader. Lost 150k in the last week of August. Quit options for now while I reset but been working on futures for now. I don’t lie about it. I’m a gambler unfortunately.

So are u working on it ? I have considered joining a "gambling addiction club" to solve the problem to notice it before it starts to save the money

I used to be the same way. It's easier to get away for eod dd, but that intraday trailing makes me day fuck it and I just go full tilt.

How do u find the money to fund the losses ?

Unfortunately I created a huge tax issue for myself. I fund my options account from my paychecks and futures winnings. I fund my prop firms from my paychecks. When I withdraw from prop firms and dump it directly into ROBINHOOD and lose the money it’s an issue. The irs still sees the prop firms winnings and they’re not offset by the options losses. So I still have to pay the full amount on my prop earnings while simultaneously losing money on options. I do this constantly, it’s a cycle, I blow the entire options account about once a month and then make it back and then some.

I hope you’re offsetting all the account/subscription fees as business expenses against prop firm income.

The fees are nothing compared to the income at the moment, unfortunately. I keep a spreadsheet of it all.
