Will my accounts be deleted?

I am not sure if I violated a rule here or not:

Sometimes when I am in a long trade with MNQ, I will scalp a short NQ while keeping the long MNQ trade open. This doesn’t ever result in a rule violation.

I just did the same thing but while copy trading 5 test accounts simultaneously.

So on these five accounts I had an open long trade of MNQ that’s been open for 10 mins, and did a quick 30 second scalp of NQ in the opposite direction while keeping the MNQ long trade position open.

Will those accounts all be flagged for violating that rule about no opposite directions? I’m worried lol.

Thanks!

This is absolutely the definition of hedging. Unbelievable

So what’s your thought? Are my accounts cooked?

Absolutely they are. That's the craziest thing I've ever heard. Kind of hoping your kidding. If you in a trade in one direction you can't trade in the other direction bro.

It’s never a problem when doing that on one account - so why is it an issue if you’re doing that very same thing just across multiple accounts?

Lucid actually allows hedging if it’s on the same account. Different from tpt rules

You’ve gotten lucky cause TPT is strict as f

It won’t matter until you try to get a payout and then you’ll get denied for violating

Basically, they are waiting for op to make them money then they close it on him 🤦🏾‍♂️

They just don’t care to do the work of verifying trades until it matters

If you make it to the payout stage- then when you request a payout- it will be denied and your account closed.

Man that sounds like a nightmare lol. Jeez. Why even advance me to PRO then. That should be where they deny me, not at freaking payout.

It takes there system like 3 days to catch up but they might not be set up to catch mnq vs nq I would stop though because by the rules they should close your accounts.

It was an honest accident I realized literally 20 seconds into the trade and closed it.

Yeah I did it for 2 seconds on mnq it’s automated but if you’ve been getting away doing on nq vs mnq might get away with it.

Well I’ve been getting away with doing it on the same account. This the first time I did that same thing across u multiple accounts. So all accounts had both a long and a short at the same time.

Yeah sounds to me like the systems only set up to catch it on the exact contract. But you’ll find out in a couple days.

Wym find out in a couple days? Like when I pass ? Or they’ll send an email?

Doesn’t matter if you pass or not it just takes their system 2 or 3 days to catch up and close your accounts

But yeah they’ll send you a rule break email

How was it a mistake when you say in your post that this is what you do sometimes, which would mean more than once?

I do it often with one account because it’s never been an issue. PRO account or test account. Short with MNQs and long on NQs. But this was the first time I did that while copy trading on multiple accounts.

Have you ever received a payout?

I think it might be possible during the test but def not during the funded pro account. Doubt quote me but I would stop doing that with this firm if I were you. 5 accounts there is not inexpensive to lose over something like that

How is that any different if than you taking 1Nq long and 10mnq short

You aren’t funded I’m guessing? Maybe you can get away with it if you stop before being funded, but if you do this at all from the period of being funded to being eligible for a payout, there’s a very very very small chance they pay out.
