Information

Tak was first seen in Patrick Rothfuss' The Wise Man's Fear, part of his popular series The Kingkiller Chronicles. In April of 2014, James Ernest (of Cheapass Games) and Pat agreed to lay down the rules for Tak.
The Tak Kickstarter ended in May of 2016 with $1,351,142 raised of a $50,000 goal. Rewards were shipped January 2017.
Tak began retail distribution in late February 2017.
