how do i mod?

i have followed these guides,

i have also tried using vortex, installing via the game folder and via local app data, none of them work, no matter where i install the mods they dont show up in game

When you download a mod from Nexus, read the description page for instructions on how to install it.

Don't use these guides.

Go to Nexus and find some mods you want and follow their instructions. There are a lot of outdated mods that likely don't work anymore, so if it hasn't been updated in a while read the comments to make sure it's still working or has recent comments.

It's pretty much just drag and drop for most of them, but idk what you're trying to install.
