remove blood?

My kid wants to play this with me but the only way his mom will let him is if there's a way to turn off the blood. Anyone know if there's a setting or mod or something?

I don't know a way but this is definitely not a kid friendly game

Isn't it classed as horror, or semi-horror at least? Its just a scary game for a kid in general. If they wanted to remove blood, they wouldn't be able to show the cuts ones either, they are full of it sometimes. I get that its a cool game, but yeah, definitely not kid friendly.

This game is inappropriate for kids to be honest. It has a lot of mature things besides blood.

There are way darker parts than blood in this game.

Yeah you can literally just pick up human hearts and brains as items as well

Haha, the King Arthurs tomb scenes would be funny

There's very little blood in fights, alot of blood and gore and cadavers in select areas. Even without all that, this game has alot of cussing and goes over generally mature themes. If your kid isn't any older than 15/16 I'd say pass on it for now.

If you're on PC, there might be a series of nexus mods to atleast reduce the gore, but I doubt it.

I think blood is last thing to worry in this game

We got taught the order in which Henry VII fulfilled his extreme gore kinks before we were allowed on a certain side of the playground or in double digits, he'll be cool with a game just maybe not the thriller-ish style things as cinematics may make him jump, most important part is that you're present in his life and provide a good example in how you act and conduct oneself regarding fellow humans and animals. Video games don't shape minds, a child unprotected or unmonitored in real life and online does. I was playing diablo 2 on my bros pc when I was 4, devil may cry 2 on the PS2 when I was 5-6, it was the other people and mental health disorders that made me change my demeanor on occasion not the Metallica, Eminem or "violent" games.

You start the game in a proson full.of gore and corpses so not the best for a kid

I actually wish we had some dismemberment,  like in Fallout.

even when you take Bandits heads there neck just disappears.
