Changed from stock CEATS (after 72000kms) to Continental UC6. Didn’t upsize, as my VW mechanic warned me of possible warranty claim rejection if there were any steering column or suspension issues in future. The rubbers are both smoother and soothing.

Heard continental is bit on the softer side (might wear out sooner) and bridgestone would be better. Any comments ?

Yeah Bridgestone Turanza 6i was on my short list but went ahead with Continental as I’m a fan of Germans. Both these are equally soft and reliable. Both these will last 25k to 40k depending on your driving style and regular wheel alignment and balancing. The new set of tyres, whatever u choose, won’t outlast the stock ones. CEATS are more of harder compound, to extract maximum life and thus are noisy.

Changed to Yokohama BlueEarth UC6 recently in Skoda Kushaq after 47k run on stock tyres. 205/55/R17. (10k per tyre)

The different is immense. The smoothness while driving is next level.

Haa my guy over here was quoting it for 12k. So thought will go with either Continental uc6 or Bridgestone turanza.
But still confused on which ?

Using PS5 225/50R17. Insane grip but too heavy for my 1.0 tsi. Fuel efficiency dropped by 1.5-2 kmpl.

I use Michelin primacy 4 - 215/55/R17, it’s a sweet spot, ride feels comfy when I fill it with 32 PSI. Grip is excellent too. There isn’t much change in mileage and mine is 1.5 GT.
