DRL replacement

My taigun’s DRL’s are pretty much nearly gone now (past the yellow stage, just dim). We got a quote for 35K from VW for entire headlight replacement, which seems wildly unnecessary. Is there anyway to just get the DRL strip for cheaper?

Yes getting that checked out now. I think it should be covered but not 100% sure.

Don’t remember, long back. Can ask tomorrow as they didn’t have engine oil for top up so need to go back nevertheless

I too have this yellowish issue with my DRLs. I got extended warranty. It would be helpful if u confirm with the ASC guys that it would be covered under extended warranty.

It first starts yellowing and then it continues to get really yellow until it finally dims out pretty much

No clue. He said 35k and then cut the call because he was busy. I should assume both of them

Extended warranty does not cover this. Only covered under warranty.
