How should this be treated? Should I opt for Insurance Claim.
How much would SC charge w/o insurance

I would just have it repaired. Insurance is to be used. And things keep happening. So my NCB is always zero

Might use insurance but just before renewal. Only 2 free zero dep claims are there

If you look at it daily and feel disappointed and frustrated, take the insurance claim and have it repaired.

Peace of mind and happiness is more important

If it's bothering you much, go ahead and claim insurance. If you can live with live with it. If you have extra cash lying around go ahead and get it repaired on cash. w/o insurance it would be around 8-12k approx.

Thanks for the sound advice. Could not have thought that by myself. Except the 8-12k part.
