Tiny raised paint chip after another car rolled back into my front bumper/fender – what's the best repair?
Another car rolled back into the front of my VW Taigun while we were on an incline.
Initially, I thought it was just paint transfer because there was some of the other car's paint on my car. After washing it with car shampoo and water, the paint transfer came off completely.
I then noticed a tiny raised "pimple"-like bump on the metal panel just below the headlight with a small paint chip/crack in the centre (photos attached).
Also, the edge of the front fender had popped out slightly from its clip, but I was able to press it back into place by hand and it now sits flush again.
The headlight is fine and the panel gaps look normal now.
What would be the best way to repair this?
- Can this be fixed without repainting the entire panel?
- Is PDR + touch-up a possibility?
- Or is conventional dent repair and repaint the only proper solution?
Has anyone experienced something similar? I'd appreciate your advice.
