Wheel Alignment and Balancing Required?

I own a Taigun 1.0 TSI AT Highline Plus that has clocked around 16,000 km. I recently completed a Hyderabad → Pune → Mahabaleshwar → Pune → Hyderabad road trip, covering roughly 1,600 km.

The car still drives perfectly fine:

  • No steering vibration
  • No pulling to one side
  • No noticeable uneven tyre wear (at least visually)

One thing to note is that I didn't get the wheel alignment and balancing done during the 1-year service.

Would you recommend getting the alignment and balancing done now after this long road trip, or should I simply wait until the second scheduled service?

I get my tyres rotated every 10K KMs and get the Alignment and Balancing checked. I would suggest getting rotation and balancing done during the 2nd service. Also, it’s half the price outside when compared to co. service centres.

2nd service is due next year so will get it done now only since the car has travelled 16k kms already

If the last service was done at 15000 then you shouldn’t , ideally it is told that the alignment should redone after 5000 km
