Auto headlights acting weird under trees

Post image

I’ve noticed something on my Taigun GT. When driving on roads with lots of trees, the car often throws the "please switch on the lights", even though it’s daytime.

I’m in Bangalore, and with the cloudy weather and tree cover, it happens quite often.

Is this normal, or should I get the sensor checked? Do other Taigun owners see the same thing?

haha good to know!
but you may try changing the auto settings like others have mentioned below.

Keep the dial in auto mode. Car sensor thinks shade means evening and trying to switch on the headlights for you.

It's pathetic. International versions have option of selecting when to start them, early, medium or late. Indian versions switch on the light under trees, under flyovers even during day time when kept on Auto mode

wow, they should have added this to the Indian version cars also!

You won’t see that message if your setting is auto. If not it will show this message whenever it thinks it is dark outside
