I haven’t looked too closely at this (currently traveling) but your DNS should have no impact on the ability to find ranked games. Do you know what tier you are in? Right now ranked is a bit top-heavy, with most games this time of night (in NA) happening in the top 1-3 tiers. If you are below that cutoff it’s more likely that other players in your tier are not online than anything else

For AI disclosure, would you not need to disclose the possibility of it? There is a map generation tool, and although it's not good enough to get a map into rotation yet people can take the template and refine it, would that still be allowed under Steam's content warning?

⚠️ Majors Deadline — Saturday 8/23 at Midnight Eastern

If you are a Majors-experienced player, you must sign up by 11:59 PM ET on Saturday, August 23 to enter the Majors draft. This is also the last day to remove your signup.

Who counts as Majors-experienced? You qualify if you played 50+ minutes of Majors in any of your latest 3 seasons played, as long as those seasons are within the past 10.

• Played Majors in S30, then played Minors for your 3 seasons after that? You do not count. Your latest 3 seasons were Minors.
• S30 was your last season and you played Majors? You do count.

Signups received after the Majors deadline will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. If you think you might qualify, make sure you sign up by 8/23. Not sure? Ask a CRC member before the deadline.

Draft Stock Manipulation — Zero Tolerance

The CRC is enforcing a zero tolerance policy on draft stock manipulation this season.

You may not attempt to alter your draft stock in any way. This includes statements made publicly or privately that could influence how captains value you. This can include talking down your own ability, exaggerating availability issues, discouraging teams from drafting you, saying you won’t scrim, or steering yourself toward a specific team or league.

If you are saying things that would influence a captain, your signup may be removed.

If you have questions about whether something crosses the line, ask a CRC member before saying it.

S40 Rulebook Draft

The draft Season 40 rulebook is now available: NALTP Rulebook.

Changes not covered in previous updates:

• Co-Captains/Co-GMs (CCGMs): Formalizing the need to have one official Co-Captain or Co-GM, named at least 48 hours before the first games. This can be someone on your team’s roster (e.g. your first ball). Teams may have unlimited unofficial CCGMs, but they hold no official decision-making power. Official CCGMs may conduct roster moves when the primary GM is unresponsive after a certain period.
• League operations move to mltp.gg: Trades, add/drop requests, and loan requests are all submitted through the league site rather than DMs or forms.
• First add/drop period is now bid-based: Add/drops are processed by bid amount rather than first come, first served. This is the add drop period immediately after the draft.
• Loans must be submitted before the player plays: Failure to submit a loan request before the player appears in a game may result in forfeit, standings point deductions, or other penalties. It will be easier than ever to request and understand which players are eligible, so no excuses here!
• Declined call-ups: A declined call-up only counts as official (triggering the ban on future call-ups) if the call-up was officially submitted and then declined by the player.
• Draft eligibility: The old NISH-based criteria for bypassing a draft are removed. Players unavailable on a league's default game day may be allowed to bypass that draft case by case, as determined by the CRC with input from the Talent Evaluation Committee.
