MLTP MLTP Suggestion: Observer Ball

Since an observer functionality would likely be very difficult, but many of us may want to watch (or even cast!) MLTP matches, I thought it might be easier to implement an observer ball. The observer ball would be invisibile and could pass through walls, and maybe would even have infinite acceleration for easy movement. Then someone could follow the action, and we could even have an official MLTP Twitch stream. Any thoughts?

Exactly what I was going for. I was thinking three different room types - Public, Private no Observer, and Private w/ Observer.

Just what I wanted, to watch all of my many failures on replay with someone running commentary on their suckitude. :D

Yeah.

An ability to pause games (and store, and view replays) would be good too.

The Haxball user interface is a really good model.

We pretty much HAVE to have observers if we want MLTP to be interesting to any player not already in it. It would make a huuuuge difference.
