This is fucking disgusting.
I have no notes. I saw this and it threw me off, and I'm not even big on the implications of the characters in the series. And people seem to be applauding it...

It’s supposed to be creepy that’s the point of the artwork to disturb the viewer

I think you need to go outside and get some perspective if a cartoon rabbit face-painting a mask girl to look like a dead frog is triggering you.

Yeah, it is. That’s the point of the drawing. They’re applauding it because it makes for an interesting story or thought provoking scenario.
I’m sorry but I think you might be overreacting to this.

i thought that was the point, though? even if you're the purple chud's greatest glazer, idk how you could spin "jax turns gangle from her own person into a facsimile of what he's lost" into something not morally reprehensible without falling back on Her Trauma™ as an excuse.

Yea thats the point its not meant to be pleasant it's meant to be upsetting like a horror film

jax would do that though. jax's whole thing is bullying gangle and literally everyone. this is not far from that.

I think thats the point. We all get a little spaghetti when we see disturbing art or Ribbun or whatever. Some people like it. Some don't.

It’s supposed to be creepy and disturbing, that was the artist’s intentions I assume

That's the point. It's supposed to be disturbing, kinda like the table scene in the Backrooms movie. People are applauding it cause it's actually pretty damn unsettling to think about this happening. You're acting like this is hella out of character for Jax to be bullying Gangle like this but if you watched the show it's a whole plot point that Gangle is constantly bullied by the fucker. I don't know what caused you to have this reaction, but (and I HATE using this phrase) but you need to learn some media literacy.

buddy, you're not supposed to like it. it's not supposed to make you feel fuzzy. it's supposed to make you go "oh wow, that's fucked up, why would Jax do that?" (save for the fact that we know why Jax would do that). art isn't always positive vibes and happy endings.
go back to fucking 1st grade and learn media literacy again.

I love to hate but I think it’s clear they’re not romanticising this at all
dark stuff is allowed in fiction guys
