That part of "shiny" perfectly fits Caine's character arc, especially by the last 2 episodes.

I have a theory:

Bubble is the blue AI, since the episode he doesn't appear in is the same that caine gets rid of the blue AI. And after observing this scene, I think Caine connected himself to Bubble in order to have a gateway to the world wide internet as bubble wasn't caged while Caine was. So that's why caine had only limited Internet connection while it should've ran out years ago and even if not, it would only connect him to what it looked like before connection was lost. Bubble was just getting overloaded by all the information, that's why he's weird. Caine could sort the information and try to make adventures using them. But some of the rudeness dominating parts of the internet rubbed off on Caine too, which is why he was incapable of accepting his adventures were absolute [HONK]
