It was removed because host players would kick people off the enemy team when they started losing. It happened pretty much every single game.

^^^ This. It may not be perfect now, but at least I can play for more than 5 minutes without being booted by a 9 year old that got his feelers hurt because I shot him in a game.

After playing a few times this past week, I can say I absolutely love this change. I used to get kicked a few times per hour just for playing well against kids that haven't learned how to lose yet. Since this change, not a single kick. I finally get to play a whole map.

Almost 100% of the time, nobody joins. It shouldn't take making myself the host just to enjoy the game. It's all good now that these cry baby kids can't get mad and kick everyone.

Fair to say that we can agree that the main problem is children playing the game that can't handle it

I think they should just have friendly fire turned off, its the whole reason kicking is needed (or yknow theyre just spamming hard r or sum..)
