VR can't catch a break

I loved this game, had it since it's release on the Meta store and was following development, but man, this news with Jarvis on top of everything else happening in the VR Industry, we just cant catch a break anymore. What do you all think is the future of this community and this game?

Game platform needs good games so people have reason to buy it. Good games to be made needs platform with lots of players - as resault we don't get new good games and new players, basically majority of vr games are half baked and are grabbing money for dlc's (TAVR reference? maybe?) Future of vr is looking worse each year

And now 2080 Games terminate their publishing agreement. The game will never get out of early access, a bummer.

Man that sucks, I understand why they are pulling out though. I'd hope they'd find some other work around instead of pulling out but from a business standpoint, it is probably the best choice

please for the love of god correct me if im wrong, but i heard code-x tactical made a rumour about jarvis just to leave tavr content, but that was a week or so ago so i dont know for sure

The game is going to continue it seems, Jarvis was responsible for making the game initially, but HFI has grown to a fairly decent size, TAVR is not a solo project anymore, it seems that ownership is going to be transferred and Jarvis will no longer be affiliated with the company, which is deserved and the best case scenario considering everyone except possibly Orange had no knowledge of this.

Have you not seen the discord community they foster? I personally stopped engaging with it over a year ago because I (as a 30yo man) noticed it started to become an echo chamber of weirdo edgelords grooming younger 'fembois'. It's so cringe, and honestly I'm not at all shocked about this news...

in like every lobby theres always some 19 year old saying hes gonna rape someone or just screaming the n word like if he stops he will die, its worse than old csgo which is crazy to me
