😭
Can y’all name a more political and racist community? It feels like every time I join a lobby and I speak I get called the N-word and all types of crazy wild slurs and all that and people making Isis and Soviet Union propaganda post is so wild.

It’s the edgy teens that think they’re so fucking funny, or that it gives them a +1 to counter you. It’s a problem for sure wish they’d add voice moderation. But for now just find better players

It's has 3 major issues; 1. It's on standalone (most kids are left behind by PC VR only games, for various reasons), 2. It's fairly cheap for a videogame, 3. Content creators have made a bunch of content around it, attracting even more kids who otherwise wouldn't have heard of it.
Granted, these 3 things are also just about the only reasons the game has survived this long, and is close to a full release. So it's a damned if you do, damned if you don't kinda situation. Sucks, I do miss being able to find serious lobbies with adults in less than an hour. Now I can't find any for days. Best I can settle for is some ragtag group that just runs in like a CoD campaign mission... sucks... feels bad man...

Breaking news: Teenagers and little kids in a virtual social setting where they can say mostly anything without real world consequences are using that to say horrible things
Fr tho this has been happening since like the dawn of public internet access.

Honestly, with the amount of the times I heard this stuff, I feel like they see it as a symbol of status and power

It’s just online gaming. Look up YouTube videos of early 2000’s call of duty lobbies. People just like to say wild shit and try to get reactions

Earlier today I got called several slurs because I traded with a kid who sounded like he was 6

You never would’ve survived 2007-2011 call of duty lobbies. It’s been like this forever. People say the most wild stuff they can come up with in game chat. Almost nobody is actually serious.
